The US Embassy in Tokyo has received threatening phone calls last month from an English speaker. They were death threats against US Ambassador Caroline Kennedy and another diplomat.
These threats should most definitely be taken seriously. Unfortunately, the Kennedy family has a tragic history of followed through threats, and this instance is no different.
People can't brush threats like this aside because it is a warning. This is the way people can prevent dangers from happening. It's sad how people realize what they COULD have done; they only learn after the damage has been done.
Any death threats should be taken seriously. Although it could just be a bluff threat death threats are very serious and hold a lot of potential danger.
Death threats should always be taken seriously. Preparations need to be taken for the most extreme situations and if something comes out of these threats Ms. Kennedy and the nation need to be ready to respond and react.
