In Mexico City, 43 rural college student were declared dead, with forensic evidence supporting that their bodies were incinerated near a garbage dump. This case raised a lot of doubts about the law in Mexico. The president promised to fix local policing and adopt new ways to address widespread punishment. However, people still doubt their economy because the president doesn't want people to give attention to this crisis.
Do you agree with the presidents opinion towards this crisis? Do you think he should bring more attention to it in order to have less doubts of the people? Why or why not?
I think that the president is not giving this enough attention. Improving the economy is important but Mexico won't have a better future if criminals are going unpunished.
I do not think the president is giving this enough attention. It seems as if he doesn't realize the importance of this crisis , so moving along is probably best. He's totally wrong
I dont think the president is giving this enough attention. He needs to stop avoiding the issue and confront it. The criminals involved deserve to be punished.
I think the president should give all his attention to matters like this. I think the government there should really reconsider their ways and methods of governing.
he should show more concern and attention to a murder case this big. in america even if 1 person is killed, our government tries everything to find who did it. mexico should do the same.
the Mexican government needs not realize that it is not an issue of just some 40 deaths but the overall corruption in Mexico completely destroys the police force and the democratic values of its government. how does Mexico plan on fighting a drug war, fixing its poverty, and stop police ineffectiveness without fixing its corrupt system.
