Four people were shot to death and two others wounded in a shooting and knife attack Thursday at an American Indian tribal headquarters in California, authorities said. 44-year-old Sherie Lash was taken into custody after allegedly opening fire at the Cedarville Rancheria Tribal Office and Community Center in Alturas. Sherie Lash was reportedly a former tribal leader.
She was probably trying to send a message of some sort based off of her beliefs. I didn't understand this message she was trying to get across other than her wanting to kill innocent civilians that would devastate multiple families. For what though? No message getting across is worth the death of others, that is, if there was any message at all besides being a maniac wanting to kill people.
id what she was trying to prove by killing indians, maybe they kicked her out of the tribe or something and that really upset her? but in conclusion... shes cray

The woman might opened fire because she broke away from the group and disagreed with them. Also, maybe she just went nuts and attacked the group for making her crazy.
I think that it is possible that the Indian woman felt threatened, feeling the need to 'defend' her tribe. This is very likely considering that Native American's rights have been repeatingly corrupted throughout American history.
