At least two people, including a TSA worker, were shot when a gunman opened fire inside a busy terminal at Los Angeles International Airport, according to a report.
The shooter apparently confronted the security worker before firing a round in the man's leg and squeezing off several shots inside Terminal 3 about 9:30 a.m., NBC Los Angeles reported.
At least one other person was shot before authorities managed to nab the suspect, who was reportedly armed with a rifle.
It was not immediately clear how badly the two people were hurt or if any other victims were shot in the gunfire. The victims are 25 and 29, NBC LA reported.
One person was being treated for a sprained ankle.
if this was before the security checkpoints, not much can be done other than move security to the entrance of the airport, but that would be impractical. still sickens me hearing about some different shooting or attack every week.
I think its sad that now people are getting used to saying "at least," because it means that this is normally happening and people are used to it. It shouldn't be happening in the first place.
All of these shootings are getting ridiculous, it says a lot about our society when, like Shaun said, we are so used to using "at least..." in these sort of incidents. I know the gun laws are a huge controversy but I honestly think they need to be seriously considered and possibly tightened...

This is so true! I feel a sense of relief after hearing a shooting killed ONLY two people, thank god it wasn't a bigger number. It is horrible how we are getting used to hearing about shootings. I wonder how many shootings it will take before our government will do something to improve the current gun laws and mental health situation in our country.
It is truly sad how often we have to hear about how common shootings like these are. If this incident doesn't implement any new gun restrictions nthen tragic shootings like these will continue to occur and further harm innocent individuals. It also really bothers me how the media's stories are centrally focused on only the inhuman shooter and not on the memory of the TSA agent who was killed.
