After a series of bombings and shootings like the Boston Marathon and the Sandy Hook tragedy, how could something like this happen? Are these things starting to become a normal thing of society?

Much like what we said in the classroom. We give too much attention to the people who do this kind of thing. If we were more like Clint Eastwood and get stuff done without saying much about it.

 Yeah, the media inflates the ideas and brings out the people who did it instead of focusing on the problems, which don't even need to be broadcasted about but rather of doing. Just posting it cuz I has Africa :p

I think that the violence is just a side effect of larger issues in the world such as intolerence, greed, and political corruption

The government in Kenya is run by warlords, so the whole society isnt going to be secure and reliable.

It's unfortunate that this keeps happening. But any public gathering can become a target. You just have to live your life and not be afraid.
