After Rehtaeh Parsons was raped and cyberbullied, police dropped the case. Then she killed herself.
Someone anonymously sent her pictures of the crime. At least two of the four men identies are confirmed about that raped Rehtaeh. They dropped the case due to lack of "sufficent" edvience. Because the case came down to "he" said "she" said.
The police also dropped the idea of the child pornography against those who sent out the photos of the girl being rapped.
Do you think that the people who sent the pictures of the girl being raped should have criminal charges or just dropped completely?
I'm pretty indifferent about the hacker group Anonymous. They seem to do good things one day and then turn around do something controversial (but slightly funny) the next. My only concern is if they ever get caught.........they would be in some serious doodoo for things they've done in the past. WHO ARE YOU ANONYMOUS???
Also adding to this post, the investigation is being brought back due to evidence that is reliable, after the had killed herself. Obviously pornography is bad, but if the person is willing to get in trouble to help justice be served, I give that person props.
I think they should be arrested and put in jail. They have pictures of someone being raped, A CRIME!! They are in possession of these photographs thus they were there when it happened. They should be punished.

HAHAH yeah they would be so dead!! I find them amazingly horrible, because they as you said do great things and horrible things (usually for good reasons)
I suppose I can understand that the photographs don't actually prove she was raped, I still think this case needs to be investigated further. In this age when the internet allows people all over the world access to information, including the possible evidence in this case, i'm not surprised at the vigilante anonymous groups that are urging police to investigate further, but I do think this has the potential to get out of hand if the anonymous groups feel that the police still don't achieve justice.
Why are they in possession of these photos? Because it's not like they just find them out of nowhere. They either know the people who raped her, or they were there when it happened, which makes them witnesses. Step forward, because that in itself is an obstruction to the investigation.
I think they should try to find the people who sent the pictures in. There could be many diferent reasons they wanted to remain anonymous, it doesn't necessarily mean they are guilty of anything.
For instance, if this had happened at a party with alcohol, and I had witnessed it and sent in pictures in a hope that the police were able to use the evidence to help catch the people at fault, I wouldn't want people to know I had been at that party, possibly doing things I shouldn't have been doing.
