North Korea sentences U.S. citizen to 15 years of hard labor

Pae Jun Ho (Kenneth Bae) has been sentenced to 15 years of hard labor in North Korea

They are claiming he commited hostile acts against them

Because of the United State's lack of diplomatic relations with N. Korea the Sweedish are representing us in an attempt to free Bae

There are concerns about the US getting involved and possibly creating more tension with N. Korea

 

Should the US try to free Bae even if it could make things even more unsteady with N. Korea?

We should do anything we can within our power to free him as long as it does not escalate things with North Korea.

Heck why not get involved, I'm all for escalating with North Korea, show them whose boss and finally give me a reason to enlist....but I'm sure someone has a counter opinion that happens to contradict what I'm saying....WAR!!

The U.S. should attempt to save Bae by peaceful means because it is the right thing to dowithout worrying about what it will mean for the current tensions with North Korea.

He is an American citizen, so we should try and help him as much as we possibly can. Who cares what North Korea says? We already hate each other anyways, so might as well go down with a fight.

I'm kind of curious what this guy did for them to sentence him. & what is considered "hard labor?" I am with almost everyone on here too, we need to get him out. That is an American citizen, we should do everything in our power to save him.
