Do you think that the neighbors were wrong in applyying their own home remedy?
Where does religion take place in medicine?
Yeah, it is completely wrong. They should have called 911 right away. it is the amish people being ignorant about needing real medical attention that needed to be administered by a real doctor.
Religion has its place in medicine, say your prayers, wish for healing. But let the doctor work his magic.

i think if it was a child a doctor should have been called right away, but since she was a grown woman she had the right to choose and she chose her religion

I dont think its a religion, its an ethnic group.
