BEDFORD, Ohio - An Ohio man who argued with his grown son over a messy bedroom says he overreacted when he called 911.
Andrew Mizsak called authorities Thursday after his 28-year-old son who's a school board member in the Cleveland suburb of Bedford threw a plate of food across the kitchen table and made a fist at him when told to clean his room.
The son, also named Andrew, lives in a room in his parents' basement.
The father declined to press charges and told police he doesn't want to ruin his son's political career.
The son, who also works as a political consultant, says he's lucky to be living in the house rent free. He also promises to keep his room clean.

i think something else had to of happened for the dad to call 911. he just doesnt want to ruin his son's "political career". or the dad is just weird and likes to call 911 for stupid pointless reasons.
if he had a reputation that his dad didn't want to ruin, he probably wouldnt still be living with his parents. His dad was probably trying to get him to move out. He's 28 and has a job with the school board so why can't he afford his own place to live? Then his dad wouldn't have to over react about wierd things like messy rooms.
Im sorry but anyone would throws a plate of food at the wall over a messy room is insane and need conseling. The father could have simply had a calm more necessary approach to telling his son to clean his room.
