Strong evidence' for Bashir genocide case, a DARFUR topic....

-On Wednesday International Criminal Court (ICC) judges will announce if they will indict Sudan's leader Omar Bashir on charges of genocide in Darfur
-Argentine Judge Luis Moreno Ocampo said he had more than 30 witnesses prepared to testify against Mr Bashir at The Hague (UN Court in the Netherlands).
-Mr Bashir, who denies the charges, said any move by the ICC to seek his arrest would be worthless because Sudan does not accept ICC's jurisdiction.
-They allege that the president (Bashir) mobilised Sudan's military and Arab militias (Janjaweed)in a campaign of murder, rape and forced displacement of 3 ethnic tribes in the Darfur region.

Should Bashir be tried for genocide? Even if his country does not accept the ICC jurisdiction and will not send their president away to be tried, is this a step in the right direction to try to help solve the Darfur genocide?

If Sudan doesn't accept the ICC's jurisdiction I'm not sure how much the ICC judges can do without using brute force. If what Bashir did is true then yes he should be tried for genocide but I wonder if that would just help the rebels in Sudan. Question: Does he actually deny ordering the killings or does he justify them?

he supplies the Janjaweed with money and arms. but its like Israel denying they have nuclear weapons. Everyone knows they do it, but they deny it at all costs.

I absolutely think he should be tried for Genocide, and if the country doesn't send him to trial, it's the ICC's responsibility to go in with force and get him. Someone who is responsible for over 800,000 deaths of innocent people should be executed at all costs.
