Although the thought of Donald Trump being president rightfully makes us all cringe a bit: we must consider the candidate based upon the facts. Trump is an extremely successful business owner, creator of non-profits, and understands what it takes to lead a large group of people. For all technicalities and purposes, he is a reasonable candidate. However, because of his public figure status I do not believe he has a chance at winning due to his already over exposed lifestyle and unsavory toupee.
I have to agree with Maddy, yet again. Even though the idea of having Donald Trump as president of the United States is humorous, there is an abundance of reasons as to why he is qualified for the position. Unfortunately for Donald, his chances of winning this election are not very high because of the way America already perceives him, as a man with high maintenance "hair" that frequently utters the phrase "you're fired!".
Trump appears to be serious about his commitment to the presidential bid but I don't think America will buy into it. Trump has switched party loyalties several times and would not earn my vote to be the nation's leader.
I do not believe that Mr. Trump will win this election for numerous reasons:
1.) He is more a celebrity than a political figure
2.) He has an impression of being motivated by mere profit rather than the good of the people
3.) His signature line, "You're fired!" gives a negative image and can connect to him trying to put people out of jobs.
Although the last point may seem trivial, anything can matter when the votes are close.
