Three brothers have confessed to gang raping two teenage girls in India. The men have pleaded guilty to the rape charges but have not admitted to killing the girls, police spokesman Mukesh Saxena said Sunday.

its good they are honest but their actions still arent justified, i think their punishment should be either death or life in the most dangerous prision they have there
Im glad that they at least confessed to this horrible crime and came clean so that the authorities aren't searching for weeks. They sould get the same punishment as they would in the U.S

I do not know how the laws are in India but confession generally reduces the punishment. But they should investigate further and find out who is responsible for the death of these innocent girls and charge for the sin they have committed.

I think that they probablyu did kill the girls and they are just confessing to rape to just make it seem like thats all they did. Which probably isnt and they should be punished for what they did.
Whether they confessed or not the punishment should be the same. Rape is rape. If confessing gets you a lesser punishment then whats stopping rapists from raping a bunch of women, confessing, and then getting off with a lesser punishment? That's sending the wrong message. They should be sentenced to life in prison just as any rapist should.
