They should either let it rot on land, or should blow it up to get rid of it. They could also try to push it back in the water or grind it up. However, they coukld try to bury it as well.
They should try to find a way to release the gases inside the whale's body that will cause it to explode. They should then proceed to get rid of it the way they normally get rid of dead whales.
They should try to release the gases or let it blow up before they move the whale because moving it while the gases are inside can be dangerous to the public.
I think they should do whatever they need to do to remove the whale considering it is already dead and posing a hazard to people. If you guys didn't look at the link you should the pictures of this whale are insane!!
I wonder how common this is actually. There could be a procedure out there for this scenario, and if so, then let the professionals handle the problem. If not, then I'm agreeing with most people who already commented on here, and say to try to find a way to release all the gas build up without causing a disturbance to the public.
I agree with most people who have responded to this article, I believe that the gases in side of the whale should be gradually released. Even though this might seem cruel, I would rather have a whale with a hole in it rather than an exploded wale.
