These intersections in New Zealand are dangerous as follows:
1 Auckland Glenbrook Rd and Kingseat Road
2 Taupo District (NZTA) SH1 (Thermal Explorer Highway) and Poihipi Road
3 Taupo District (NZTA) SH5 (Napier - Taupo Road) and Arrowsmith Avenue
4 Rotorua District (NZTA) SH30 (Hemo Road) and SH5 (Old Taupo Road)
5 Napier City (NZTA) SH2 and (Main North Road) SH2B (Napier Hastings Expressway)
6 Auckland Waiuku Road and Attewell Road
7 Auckland Great North Road and Bullock Track
8 New Plymouth District (NZTA) SH3 (Devon Rd) and Mangati Road
9 Waikato District (NZTA) SH1B (Telephone Road) and Holland Road
10 Auckland Tamaki Drive and Ngapipi Road
There have been reports of 53 deaths and 445 injuries that occurred between 2003-2012, and these intersections have been the main target for safety improvements.
How should these intersections be safe?
(not an actual intersection)

If adding signals and stop signs aren't enough to improve the safety conditions for these intersections, then they need to be completely redesigned. Also, lower speed limits should be required. The amount of lives lost in these intersections is ridiculous for something that could easily be prevented.
I agree that they should place more signals and stop signs and lower the speed limit. More cops should be regularly overseeing those intersections for safety of the people.
If putting in signals or stop signs does not work then they need to lower the speed limit. Obviously these intersections are not safe and something needs to be done to make them safer.
