I've always enjoyed reading quotes. What are some of your favorite quotes? Do you find them inspirational, interesting, or maybe you think it resembles your personality or what you believe in? Maybe you made some of your own quotes?
Some of my favorite quotes :)
Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but rising every time we fall. - Confucius
"Watch your thoughts, they become actions. Watch your actions, they become habits. Watch your habits, they become your character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny."
- Random inspirational quote at my old karate studio
"You are never as good as you think you are, you are never as bad as you think you are, and you're never far from both of these"
I feel as though people need something or someone to tell them they're great(even if they may not be) because it keeps them going and many times we are our own harshest critics, seeing things that aren't as obvious to others. This quote keeps someone balanced; away from ****iness and safe in humility.
"More than machinery we need humanity. More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost...." -Charlie Chaplin (The Great Dictator's Speech)
The story of life, is faster than the blink of an eye. The story of love, is hello and goodbye. Until we meet again. -Jimmy Hendrix Suicide Note Be happy never satisfied -Bruce Lee Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing now -1 Thessalonians 5:11 I have a lot but I can't remember that many right now
Give a man a fire and he's warm for the day. But set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life -Terry Pratchett
And I did it, my way. -Frank Sinatra
"You got to want to be successful so bad, you forget to eat"
"Sleep is for those people who are broke. I don't sleep; I have an opportunity to make a dream a reality." -50Cent
This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybodys job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldnt do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have -Anonymous I would rather hire a lazy person rather than someone who works hard. This is because a lazy person will find a quicker way to do something.- Bill Gates
"Please my son, stay away from the bad things." -John Q
"In 7 days, God created the universe. And in 7 seconds, I shattered mine" -7 Pounds I have a lot more but i can't get the exact wording

LOVE this post!!!! Especially as I am a quote fanatic! :)
"You must be the change you wish to see in the world." (Gandhi) is my absolute fave, I think, though I'm also quite partial to "May you live all the days of your life" (Jonathan Swift) and "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." (Margaret Mead).
And I love everything Ron Swanson says on Parks&Rec :) "Dear frozen yogurt, you are the celery of desserts. Be ice cream or be nothing."
Ron Swanson: Is that a fried turkey leg wrapped inside a burger? Because if so, then yes. Delicious.

Lego, Cav (the Lego brand name was derived from the Danish expression "leg godt" - play well - and lego also translates in Latin as "I study" or "I put together"...really, one of the world's most perfect words!)
"Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever"
"Sometimes you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book."
Love this quote from John Green. This may sound crazy, but sometimes I get emotionally attatched to a great novel and its characters, so I really believe that this quote is true. I'm not sure if its my all-time favorite quote, but it is definitely a memorable one.
Quotes are my absolute favorite thing. Every night before I go to bed I read quotes on Pinterest and it brings peace to my mind.
My favorite quote is "If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today."
"Pain is temporary, pride is forever" "Pain is weakness leaving the body" these help me through alot of things, and they are whole heatedly true. I am infinately stronger than I ever was before I embraced those quotes.
I enjoy quotes and do find them helpful as well as inspirational. One of my favorite quotes that I am sure many people have not heard is:
"By being a racing driver you are under risk all the time. By being a racing driver means you are racing with other people. And if you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver because we are competing, we are competing to win."
This quote really demonstrates the passion that former Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna had for driving and is unlike any one persons passion i have ever seen for anything. He was truly the best. RIP Senna
I love looking at quotes. I have so many favorites but this is a quote that i like.
"Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present."
