Japanese whalers entered New Zealands Exclusive Economic Zone(EEZ) while feeling form the activist Ship the Sea Shepard. The Japanese ship searched for sanctuary from the attack but New Zealand diplomats made it clear that the whaling ship was not welcomed. Australia and New Zealand are currently taking actions in the UN against Japans whalers
