The incident is probably a planned murder because of the placement of the women's body within the park. I think they'll eventually catch the killer since they have information regarding the case that this was related to a "domestic incident".
There is very little info in the article, and the investigation. I believe that when the police proceed with their investigation, they'll find all the necessary facts about the murder.

Considering this case is linked to a domestic incident I think it could be either planned or accidental but most likely planned. I mean if it was accidental there would be no dire reason to leave her body in the park so...
