Dramatic footage has been released showing the moment Harrison Okene, who had been trapped in an air bubble of a capsized boat for almost three days, was rescued by divers.
The Nigerian cook survived by breathing an ever-dwindling supply of oxygen in an air pocket. A video of Mr Okene's rescue in May - that was posted on the Internet more than six months later has gone viral this week.
I can't believe that air bubble lasted that long! That is amazing luck and will power to fight to stay alive for that long. I don't think I would be able to handle that.
It is amazing that he remained calm when there was a dwindling air supply. Just the fact that he was stuck 100 feet below in the Atlantic Ocean would be enough to freak me out. But somehow he stayed alive.
Wow...I can't believe he survived three days alone on just one bottle of Coke. I can't imagine how I would feel being put in that situation with that much uncertainty and dwindling resources.
