PS4 gets a day-one update, confirming every new console requires one. The update won't need to be download the moment you start it, but adds features such as Vita Remote Play, Voice Chat, Share Button functions, and more

The Wii is now only being made in US. Japan and the UK have stopped manufacturing the Wii, probably to get consumers to purchase the new Wii U console and the UK-only Wii Mini.

Pokemon X/Y breaks old record and sells 4 million in two days. In perspective, the overall sale holder, Diamond and Pearl, sold 17 million overall.

Both Nintendo and Microsoft said that cross-platform play could happen. This means that if this happens, a multiplatform game could have people on XBox 360s and Wii Us play with each other.

THtas is cool that only a,erica makes the wii now, but the thing is, no body wants the wii anymore, its old news

PS4 all the way!. I hope microsoft takes a big hit this console generation, thinking its ok to put monotoring restirctive software on their customers. -.-

 You have fallen behind on your console facts. They have confirmed that you would be able to turn off the kinect if you wanted to. The 24 hour mandatory internet check ups are a bad idea, but they fixed quite a large amount of the problems that were existant before.

 As I've said before, why trust a company that was willingly to screw you over before. There's also rumors and evidence going around saying that Sony was going to do the same thing Microsoft did, but then saw the negative negative reaction and changed their policy to look like they're "for the gamer".

Pc is the best gaming platform, it costs more but has better overall experiences and has a better commnunity.
