Our very own Hawk Talk crew would like to do a story on Malala (the Palestinian girl we watched yesterday who was shot in the head for having the audacity to try and attend school). They are looking for a few students to appear in the piece sharing their thoughts and reactions.
I know that quite a few of you had quite a lot to say about it. Would you be willing to say it on air? You can repeat exactly what you said yesterday; I thought your insights/reactions were quite articulate and pertinent.
HT typically films during 5th, 6th, and after school, and ideally you should be filmed Monday or Tuesday to give them sufficient editing time. If you're interested, please talk to Kristen or talk to me (if you're interested but those times are difficult for you schedulewise, don't let that stop you! We can work something out)!! Thanks!!! :)
Here are a few more articles about Malala's story:
Lego, Cav (the Lego brand name was derived from the Danish expression "leg godt" - play well - and lego also translates in Latin as "I study" or "I put together"...really, one of the world's most perfect words!)
