Any compilation of the world's most dangerous terrorists is a hazardous undertaking, a shifting list that's open to endless debate.
Do you guys think that society is targeting the Middle East because of what is going on in Syria right now? Or do you think that America has this vendetta against the Middle East because of 9-11?
The United States and the Middle Eastern region have had Endless conflicts for at least 30 years. 9/11 didn't happen out of nowhere. Any American who payed any amount of attention to what the military is doing has known that they have been in a conflict with that region for a while now. The world is not targeting Syria. If they were, then everyone would have done something by now. The problems WOULD come to an end there. It is just a widely talked about region because of all of the controversial things going on there.
I digress. Many people would agree that some of the most dangerous people in the world are not anywhere close to that area.
The middle east has been a hostile area of the world for a long time now. The has assumed the role of the world police and has attempted to stablize the middle east. However, 9-11 has influenced the U.S. to step up involvement in the that region of the world. People have also created an ignorant belief that most terrorist come from thge middle east. Thsi belief has influenced our goverment to take more action againest the middle east. Also, the whole Syria is the latest conflict in the region that the U.S. has begun to take action againest
In part I feel that America does not like the middle east as a whole because of the events of 9-11 and therefore target terrorists from that region more than from other parts of the world. However, there is good reason to fear the region's leaders. I believe that most Americans can seperate the middle eastern terrorists and leaders from the innoccent citizens and not just lump them together.
We don't have a "vendetta" because we have had wars with the Middle-east for decades before 9-11. 9-11 didn't help our relationship with the Middle-east and I don't think we will ever become allies with the Middle-east.
Though out history we seen groups of people be targeted and used as scapegoats for a wrong doing and this is only the most recent case of group targeting.
America is probably doing it more for political reasons, such as 9-11. The 9-11 attacks unified the American people against a common enemy (which were terrorists from the Middle East), and that is why the U.S. is still involved with the Middle East. However, I believe that there are dangerous people all over the world, so it's not fair to target just the Middle East in order to gather the ten most dangerous terrists in the world.
They are targeting the Middle-east because the Middle-east is really the only region that is attempting to hurt the U.S. I know North Korea targeted us, but in all honesty they are a joke. The Middle-east can cause and will cause serious harm to the United States if we don't do something about it.
Just to end all of the confusion, 9/11 was caused by a radical Muslim group because they knew that America was one of the main reasons why they lost their most holy territory (the land now being called "Israel"). They targeted the World Trade Center because they knew that just a political attack would not be heard by everyone, so they hit a target that would have a toll on the world's economy, and nobody can just ignore that. Through Al-Qaeda's eyes, they just think of it as another crusade to try to get their holy land back, by striking one of the main reasons why they lost it.
The Middle East and America haven't been getting a long for years. 9/11 is one example, then again most terrorist who want to kill mostly Americans, for the way we live are from the Middle East and I think that is why the U.S. And the Middle East don't get along. But we shouldn't just target the Middle East, because there are a lot of countries that aren't happy with our foreign affairs right now. So we need to keep our guard up.
