This is another example of news sources trying to out do each other! Every news source tries to be the first one with the information, even sacrifycing accuracy. While things like this can be entertaining, they are also kind of troubling.
They just tried to get the jump on the story over other networks, they must have went too fast used the wrong graphic, but even then, dont they have teams to edit any major mistakes like this
As someone who sees how they edit news cast, mistakes are easy to make in any broadcast. But thats why their are directors and producers who are suppost to approve of anything before airing it. They wanna be the first to report the news to get the viewers, but sometimes they just don't have their facts right.
It's ridiculous how many times this has happened recently with all theses "reliable" news sources messing up information...I'm guessing it's time to change our current event rubric to say that we must use "semi-reliable, maybe on a good day" sources...come on people GET IT TOGETHER -_-
This is similar to Twitter news posts and news sources constantly trying to be the first one to post news before others to gain more viewership. The media is becoming more flawed with the advances in technology seemingly hindering the accuracy of their reports.
