Farewell to the VW Campervan – the coolest way to travel

 The news that production of the VW Campervan is to be ended, because it cant be fitted with airbags, is a sad sign of the times.Do these people not realize that health and safety along with speed, inconspicuousness and the Clean Air Act have always been fairly low on the list of priorities for any Campervanner? The point about Campervan drivers is that, like the girls of a certain Cyndi Lauper song, they just want to have fun.

What do you think about Volks Wagen discontinuing the campervan series?

This is so sad! It is definately a part of history now, I doubt anyone will ever forget these vans. I bet you can still buy them used!
