Kirobo, the world's first talking humanoid "astronaut", has been launched into space. It will act as a companion for astronaut Koichi Wakata and will communicate with another robot on Earth.
wouldn't it cost more to send a robot up in space? Robots are going to take over the world #theendisnear lol
No because robots do not have to maintain themselves, they can be put in more dangerous positions, and don't have to worry about food (solar power is easy to get in space to power robots).
