2-4-6-8, What ED Staff Do You Appreciate?! It's TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK! :)

It's Teacher Appreciation Week - as evidenced by the flowers, gifts, apple-themed things, and notes covering my household as the three MiniCavs prepare for five solid days of appereciation-token-givings to their respective teachers.

In that spirit, who are some teachers at EDHS that you've appreciated and what have they done that you've thought was awesometastic?

Mrs. Amann for her passion for teaching and her extensive knowledge base, which made me realize that I genuinely enjoy learning, especially from people who love what they teach. & Mr. Campuzano for his care for every student he encounters.

Ms. Shirey is absoluetely awesome. She is a great teacher with a wonderful sense of humor. I love Chemistry with her so much that I am taking AP Chemistry with her next year! And I will also be her TA next year to get a double-dose of Chem with her everyday!

I also appreciate Mr. Ashe very much. He has made such a positive impact on me. He taught me to get over my fear of presentations during my Freshman year and that self-discipline is very important for personal success. He is like a father-figure to me, since me and my dad haven't always been on good or even friendly terms.

Mr. Picou is awesome. It is nice to be mistaken for a student when you are in your 30s. Plus, he is just generally a helpful teacher who makes his class enjoyable to be in.

Mr. Wolf is pretty awesome. He is able to make you think of language arts in a whole new perspective. He has made LA IV as fun as language arts can be. :)

Mr. Carlson he always starts of the day with a good note by always saying hello and goodbye, asking how we are doing, or how i our weekend was to the students as they enter and leave the classroom. He normally is very outgoing for first period even though us students are still half asleep. He makes a point to try and help people because im not the best in history and hes always offering to help me when ever I can to try and improve in his class and understand what he teaching. You can tell hes one of those teacher that is postive about coming to school and enjoys his job.
