8 year old, Martin Richard was at the Boston Marathon to support his father, and was ecstatic to see his father cross the fnish line. He had just hugged his father in congratulations when the two bombs exploded suddenly. The little boy was killed and his mother and his sister recieved severe injuries. His mother had to go through brain surgery, and his younger sister, 6 years old, lost one leg. It is still unknown who is responsible for the attack, but there is hesitiation about calling it an Al-Qaeda attack so soon. further investigations will be conducted about the nature of the bomb and where exactly it came from and what set them off.
