Energy drink tycoon Red Bull says it is being blackmailed by someone who is threatening to place cans contaminated with feces onto shelves. The Company says the threats started a couple weeks ago. Although no complaint of contamination has been brought up and store records show that the merchandise has not been tampered with they are still on alert. http://news.yahoo.com/energy-drink-producer-says-being-blackmailed-113908523--finance.html
As tasty as Red Bull is, the reason I am not buying it isn't casue of what it is or the possible threat of feces in it, but its just EXSPENSIVE. Holy moly, $4 for 2, wow what a bargain for a 2 ounce can.
That is so disgusting... How do the blackmailers win in this situation? I don't understand. & what is in it already? (Not to sound ignorant, I just don't know.)
I don't drink red bull because I like monster better, but if I did I would still drink it because if I'm consuming something that is so bad for me anyway, whatever. Might as well. Half the time I don't want to know what's in the things I eat.
I don't know a single thing about energy drinks other than they are terrible for you. Redbull is an energy drink right? I honestly don't know. I prefer to drink teas, especially green tea, simply or eat an apple, since both of those are much more effective at waking you up than energy drinks and coffee, plus, they are a much much much much healthier choice.
I just avoid those energy drinks anyway. I feel like they don't really give you that much energy, more of just sugar rush and then a crash. But we are teenagers, we should have enough energy anyways. :p
What are the blackmailer suppose to get out of this situation? like you can go to jail for stuff like that. I'm pretty sure you cant putĀ in a can without anyone noticing... or without the can not having an effect on it after.
