We have all heard about the violence that has been going on in Mexico. Acapulco is Mexicos most popluar tourist spot.More than 30 people have been killed in Acapulco. The Mexican government says it is dealing with a turf war among drug cartels.Mexican officials say tourism has not been affected.
I know I am already afraid to go to Mexico, which is a shame since I just learned how to speak Spanish these past few years

Personally I find Mexico to be a dirty, dirty place... {that is also very sketchy} I'm not trying to be racist... (because I am not talking about the people, especially since I AM half Mexican by birth.)

I think it definetly is a big discouragement.. i mean especially to FAMILIES with KIDS.....it's not gonna be on the top of their lists for vacation spots.... To me i feel it is a deterrent, tourists want to have fun and feel safe.
Yes most definitely. I have been to Mexico a lot of times, but now my family does not even want to get near it. It has become such a dangerous place and it really is sad.
