http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100603/ap_on_re_mi_ea/ml_israel_palestinians Israel's military is using video confiscated from people on the Gaza-bound aid flotilla to justify opening fire during its deadly raid on the ships, drawing sharp criticism Thursday from foreign correspondents who say some of the footage was shot by journalists.
The Foreign Press Association, which represents hundreds of journalists in Israel and the Palestinian territories, demanded Thursday that the military stop using the captured material without permission and identify the source of the video already released.
Do you think they should have used this footage to justify opening fire?
well i know that when you are dealing with a situation like this the military needs alot of proof to make sure it is justified so i dont see a problem using the toold that they had avaliable in order for the actions to be justified.
I think that they do have a right to use the footage to justify. Although I also think that they should give credit to the journalists who recorded them.
