The Australian government approved the extradition of an 88 year old alleged former Nazi to Hungary to face accusations of murder.
He is accused of killing Jewish teenager Peter Balazs in Budapest in 1944.
He claims not to have been in that region during the alleged killing, but is listed as one of the top 10 "most wanted" suspects by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, which is a Jewish rights organization dedicated to bringing Nazi war criminals to justice.
okay i could see why if he were still out ther killing jews, but this was in 1944 and maybe he regrets what he did. i do not think he should be put on trial after all these years unless he is still saying and actually killing jews.

awe, but old people are too cute :/ It would be sad for him to get death penalty or what not especially since most of the German country was like brainwashed to believe hitler.
i just dont think that people should be put to death so many years later, i mean unless he does not regrat what he did then yeah but i think that he may feel bad for doing what he did and thats just something you cant take back.

What's the point at this point in time and especially if hes 88 years old (which is kind of an ironic number considering the topic) he is going to die soon anyways so why bother.
Well, if you want to argue that it's too long ago for him to receive punishment for it now, couldn't you then argue the same for someone like Roman Polanski? He's the director who was just arrested for sleeping with a 13 year old girl in 1977. Just because he was able to escape punishment for all these years doesn't mean he should get off without justice being served, am i right?
I'm not saying he SHOULD be punished, but I'm just trying to look at it from a different view.

I think it depends on how many people he killed. But really, it's been soo long and he probably will die soon anyway. You never know. So really i don't see the point.

He definitely deserves to go to trial and be punished if found guilty. Just because he is old and this happened a long time ago doesn't mean he should get away with murder of a teenager. I think it's terrible that this Nazi criminal hasn't already been judged for this.
