I don't think he sould have chopped off his hands, maybe instead report him to the Police?

thats way messed up to be beatin little kids. so the dad deserved what is coming to him, especially after throwing a chair at the kid, chairs are pretty heavy so to be throwing a heavy chair at a 10 year old kid is pretty messed up

That's pretty messed up to cut off anyone's hand, especially your own dads hand, I being arrested for it is not a bad thing, I think but he should of called the police or something not chopped off his hand.

i dont think he should of cut his fathers hands off but i think this story has some twisted beauty to it in a way. i know that may sound weird but instead of killing his father all together he killed the part of his father that hurt him so i just find that very interesting.

I definantly agree that this kid handled this situation wrong but he is going to need some serious help.

He did handle the situation wrong, but he probably wanted his dad to suffer just as much as he did when he was being abused.

Awwww.....this is so sad. I can see where the boy was coming from after enduring years of physical abuse which turned him violent and vengeful. However, needless to say, cutting off his father's hands wasn't the right way to avenge it. I think everyone can sympathize with the boy, even though what he did was pretty brutal. I just wish he had gone about it a different way because the boy will probably be punished for his actions.

Depending on the abuse and the action the boy took to get revenge. Then I guess the father deserved it, but still I think that was way over the top.
