the German government raised its terrorism alerts after al Queda posted a video on the internet, threatening attacks in Germany if this months elections do not come out the way the terrorist group wants. if the elections vote into parties that do not pull german troops out of Afghanistan, then there will be a "rude awakening".

I don't think the German government should give in at all to these requests. Terrorist groups like to scare other countries, and while Germany should probably increase their security controls, they should not completely change their way of life because of the threats.
Giving in to this request is a definite sign of weakness that the terrorist will only use to their advantage. If history has shown us anything, it is that when you try to make compromises with a power that you know is evil, that party will only turn their back on their fictitious promise and continue their evil intent. The foolish pact that British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain made with Adolf Hitler is a prime example of this.

Germany and the other major western powers should play by the same rule. They kill our women and children.. We should kill theirs... They chant death to America.. our national anthem should be death to the radical Islam..
We haven't used a nuclear bomb in over 50 years.. I think its about time that we strike them down with the hand of god..

I don't think their government should give in to their requests. I think following the policy of appeasement would only lead to more serious demands. I think that their government should tighten security to ensure the safety of their country, if al Queda really does follow up on their threats.
The way that Germany is dealing with this issue is atrocious They should be trying to make peace with these people. Islam is a very forgiving religion and maybe the west should learn to talk their problems out instead of bombing these poor defenseless countries.

i disagree with that. Islam is not a forgiving religion, nor is it a peaceful religion. in case you are not familiar with the 9th sura in the Koran, it calls for ALL muslims to take up arms and fight the infidels (EVERYONE not islam). Now i dont know what you define peace as, but attacking and killing anyone not in your religion does not sound peaceful to me. The only Islams truely following their religion are the extremists. There is no such thing as moderate muslims, just non-practicing muslims.

So when Christians blow up abortion clinics they are labeled as "radicals" but all Muslims are made to look like blood thirsty war mongers? Their is such a thing as moderate muslims and the 9th sura of the Koran can be taken out of context just like the bible. Not to mention who are the people that started this conflict? The crusades.... anyone? I don't remember Muslims invading Europe.It seems to be the other way around...

I don't see how this can be taken out of context. And Muslims DID invade Europe during the dark ages. But Charlemagne stopped them. And they were the ones who first took Jerusalem starting the crusades. Get your facts straight.

islam people want to kill anyone who does not agree with them and i do not agree with that. if they point a gun at my head, im going to point a gun at theirs. they were raised to hate and kill others that are different from them, and if a bullet through their head is the only way to change their mind, then thats what ill do. people like them blew up our people in our country. maybe if talking is what you want, then you should get a group of people and try to talk to them. we dont negotiate with terrorists, its an unwritten rule, you just dont do it. they want nothing more than the whole world to be islamic. and they will blow themselves and other innocent people up just to get what they want.
