Sunshine Cavalluzzi: Mama of the three most fabulous (and fabulously good-looking!!) children on the planet: Lucy (who is four and a half), JD (two and a half), and newly arrived Micah (who was born at the end of July) and an EDHS grad from the famous class of '93. I'm proud to coach the ROCK STAR EDHS Mock Trial team. I'm a UCSD grad (Go Fightin' Tritons!) and I spent a semester in London (the best thing I did in college - you ALL should study abroad!!).
I really really believe in Gandhi's idea that "You must be the change you wish to see in the world" and Margaret Mead's reminder to "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
and I LOVE: my family, my amazing circle of friends and keeping up with them on Facebook, EDHS, Mock Trial, yummy food, traveling, swimming, THE BEACH, good quotes, good books...especially Harry Potter and To Kill A Mockingbird (Lucy's middle name is Harper after Harper Lee and Micah's middle name is Atticus), funny and fabulous TV (The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Jeopardy!, The West Wing, The Office, Top Chef....), and active, energetic, and ongoing discussions about INTERESTING THINGS like CONTEMPORARY WORLD AFFAIRS!! :)
I really love teaching this class and am VERY MUCH looking forward to this semester and your FANTASTIC contributions!!!

My name is Vincent Ward Robertson. I am currently 16 years old and will be turning 17 this October. So far my favorite class has been Ceramics and I am in Advanced Ceramics now to continue making things with my hands. According to my friends I am a very humorous person and love to just hang out at a friends house. I also like to see good movies when they come out, I absolutly love comedies, and action is a close second. Many of my friends, back in the 7th grade, gave me the nickname of Vito, which from what I have read is an italian nickname for Vince. It has stuck with me all these years.

Hello there, I'm Kailey. I absolutely love music and couldn't imagine a day without it. Indie mostly. Great stuff. I enjoy some good comedy and could watch Conan O'Brien for hours. On the weekends I like to go to thrift stores, the park, and just do a whole lot of nothing with my friends. I'm one of five siblings, so arguing and debating is a pretty frequent thing for me. I'm looking forward to all those years of practice coming in handy this semester.
Hi I'm Carolanne. I'm a junior this year and I am 16. I will be 17 on November 17th so i expect cards lol jk jk people!! I can be pretty shy at first but i try and be friendly to as many people as i can because i love meeting new people and making new friends. Hello I am Rachel Bowen. I am 16 and i m turning 17 on november 28th. I love listening to music .I am a extremely shy person.I am very good in group activities. I have three brothers and no sisters and i absolutely love to read. I am planing on being a nurse when i get a little older and i am going to take night classes tis year the world is very interesting and i want to know about things that are going on in the world. Hi :) Im Joseph Amato, I have lived in California my whole life and plan to stay here :) I enjoy the beach,talking on the phone and I enjoy going to school. I am a diabetic,and I do have an extra vertebra in my back. I live with my grandmother. I also have 2 dogs and love them. I am an only child I do have step siblings but I rarely see them. hey everyone! i'm veronica campitelli and about 5 years ago i changed my name. Legally i'm mary angela campitelli but for some reason i've always resented that name. so just decided to change it to veronica. i honestly have little to no reason why. most of my decisions happen to be like that. i usually act on impluse. which is usually a good thing :] hopefully. i'm pretty much super liberal. im addicted to the news and music. i love old school punk rock, rainbows and stickers.

Though i dont have any sports or extracurricular activities, i love hanging out with my friends and family. Hey I'm Jordan. I'm 17 and a senior, as many people here seem to be. I am very interested in sports, among other things. I'm in this class so I can learn a bit more about my surroundings and hopefully apply them to become more culturally aware. I had the opportunity to go to Paraguay this summer, so I hope this class will add to that experience. Hi, I'm Bridget Carter and excited to FINALLY be a senior at EDHS. I'm 17 years old and love spending time with my friends, going to the beach, going to concerts, playing with my chihuahua Bitsy, and visiting my awesome extended family. I love modern art, music, reading, fashion, and learning about Irish history. I have been to Ireland and fell absolutely in love with it. I'm excited to take this class to keep updated and appreciate current world events.
Hello everyone =] I am Ashley Huber, and like a majority of the other posters, I am 17 and a senior here at El Dorado. As my user name implies, I am a die hard Los Angeles Kings fan!!! I'm very passionate about the sport of hockey in general. As far as school activities go, I have been a proud member of El Dorado's County Champion mock trial team each year I've attended. To be honest, I don't have much of a life outside of school, hockey, and mock trial! ;] I LOVE to travel, helping others, ice cream, Diet Dr. Pepper, embracing my German heritage, Facebook, and learning new things.
