Hi everyone, Jaymie here, I dont have a prom date and i thought i would let everyone know the reason why and i shall do it in the form of a play... Act 1: The Return I got back from germany and i had been planning to go to prom with my dear friend Emily but little did i know that she had an admirer. Lets call him Robert because that is his name. so he has some little thing for her or at leats he used to last time i talked to him. i decided not to stand in the way of love so i let them go together. Act 2: The Betrayal I planned on going with my platonic friend, the well known and outspoken, Chris K. but that "Good Friend" of mine ditched me for a girl he was seeing. i think the infatuation blinded him a bit but i dont blame him, we have all been there. (he will probably post something arguing that like he does for most people's topics :)) so at this point i had been the nice guy and then got screwed. Act 3: The phony soccer tournament i planned on going out then with this british girl i knew and found her to be quite charming and after just 5 minutes of talking with her i would walk away with a british accent. im very susspetible to those types of things you know. but then she texted me and said that her little sister had a soccer tournament and she would be out of town that whole weekend. i was suspicious because i didnt believe that but i think it was her parents that didnt want her to go with me. maybe it is my american accent or the fact that i start copying a british accent whenever i would be around. so i didnt hold it against her because i thought she must have felt embarassed so i let it go without calling her on it. once again im the nice guy getting screwed by the circumstances. Act 4: The Real soccer tournament, i think So i asked a girl from my old high school if she wanted to go and she said yes but a few hours later she had a soccer tournament in sweden all of this week so she was a no as well. Act 5: Desperate i asked my sister but then i realized she is 27 and they would never let her in. i dont know why, but they just dont. Act 6: Desperate Part 2 I tried taping a sign on my chest and back asking anyone who wanted to go to prom with me if they would just ask me but i think people thought i was too insane or that they were too shy. and if you were to ask me "Jaymie, do you have any shame?" the answer as im sure you would have learned after seeing me that day would be "No" Act 7: A sad ending so i have since given up and now am alone. i have been scheduled to work at my job at pollys and i will be alone in a crowd with all of the other lonely people. Act 8: the thank you Thank you and i appreciate any sympathy comments

aww :( that sucks. i'm sorry. if it makes you feel any better, i don't have a prom date either. so i'm not going. but i don't have a whole musical to explain how it went down lol.
it's not that bad though, not going i mean. i'm not working on prom night either though =/ probably gonna go out with friends or something. you should have done that instead of work. you'll just feel more crappy that way. but if all your friends are going or something, then i guess that's the way to go..
Suggestion: use the money you saved from not going to prom on pies at pollys. Drowning away misery with food is always comforting lol (gain that freshman 15 now)

Plutonic? isn't that what the DeLorian ran on in the first Back to the Future? (I think you mean "platonic", as in "non-amorous" :) )
