NEW POPE APPLICATION.. 'Pope2You' allows users to send photos of pontiff and message excerpts
VATICAN CITY - Pope Benedict XVI has entered the world of social networking sites and smartphones with a Vatican portal that includes Facebook and iPhone applications.
The Pope2You Web site was launched Thursday and allows Facebook users to send virtual postcards with photos of Benedict and excerpts from his messages. An application for iPhone and iPod Touch gives surfers video and audio news on the pope's travels and speeches, as well as on Catholic events worldwide.
What do you guys think? Should more world leaders do this? Would this make it easier for people in the world to keep up with our world's leaders?

Yea, it will definitely it easier for people to keep up with their leaders. THis would be a great advantage to all kinds of leaders if they did this because then more people will be aware of what's going on and what they're doing.
And i wouldn't be surprise if soon you could follow the Pope on twitter.

Lego, Cav (the Lego brand name was derived from the Danish expression "leg godt" - play well - and lego also translates in Latin as "I study" or "I put together"...really, one of the world's most perfect words!)
i actually think this is jsut really weird....? in the past we've never had connection with out leaders, and i know technology is advancing but ehh i dont know, its just weird.
that would be awesome! i think the president should do it too. :) it wouldnt really be him controlling it but still. it would be cool to read about whats going on and commenting on it.
