After tossing 6 scorless innings Wednesday night against the Oakland Athletics, Nick Adenhart was driving outside of Cal State Fullerton College with some friends. It was late in the night when they were hit and killed by a drunk driver who is now facing hit-and-run charges, along with vehicular manslaughter, and possibly murder. A CSUF baseball player was also killed in the accident
drinking and driving is so horrible, hopefully this incident will bring some more awareness to the public and maybe a bit of a crackdown on drunk driving, very sad
that sucks his first game as starting pitcher and he led the angels to a win and the same night him and others were killed i hope his family is ok and the driver deserves life in jail in my oppinion R.I.P Nick Adenhart
It was his 4th start in big leagues but his SEASON debut. This is very sad because he threw a gem of a game. I hope that dude rots in jail, driving on a suspended license, past DUI charges, fleeing the scene, driving over the legal BAC limit, 3 vehicle manslaughters (which will be upgraded to 2nd degree murder), I hope this man never gets parole. Never.
