NEW YORK - A former pastor in New York City is accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars from his parish to pay for plastic surgery, Botox injections and prescription drugs.
He is accused of stealing $84,537 over three years. The money was earmarked for parishioners in need and the upkeep of church grounds.
Blasingame could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted of second-degree grand larceny and possession of stolen property.
Attorney James Hasson calls the allegations a "bad mistake" and says there's "some kind of a vendetta" against his client.
15 years in prison....what a price to pay for wanting plastic surgery...
what are your thoughts?

hes stupid- why would u steal from a church in the first place and i would understand if it was a good reason like maybe he needed the money to pay for an operation that involves his life but for plastci surgery is not a good reason
that's really sad. stealing money for plastic surgery is bad enough as it is. stealing it from the CHURCH is really messed up. he deserved the punishment.
I think 15 years is not long enough. Hearing about a pastor steal $84,000 from a church for plastic surgery is just sad. I wouldn't be surprised if the church shut down due to the reputation the ex-pastor left.
