The British teen who claimed that an even younger boy fathered her child has a different story to tell after DNA test results showed young Alfie Patten wasn't the dad.
Chantelle Stedman, 15, said she had only slept with Alfie, age 13. Their story touched off international outrage over the moral standards of parents and their children.
Several other boys claimed they too had relationships with the teen girl.
"The result will be a blow to Alfie who was "devastated" by the boys' claims and "adored" Maisie," the newspaper reported. "He was convinced he was the dad after a single night of unprotected sex with Chantelle."
Stedman's daughter Maisie was allegedly conceived when Alfie was 12. Chantelle's parents said they let the lad spend the night with their daughter, who was 14 at the time, at their public housing unit near Eastbourne, 70 miles southeast of London.
Alfie told The Sun he plans to look after his newborn daughter. But in an interview, the boy admitted he didn't know what the word "financially" meant and acknowledged he doesn't even get an allowance.
Alfie's father, who reportedly has nine or 10 children of his own, gamely promised to have a "birds and the bees" chat with his son.
Not all were reassured.
Sir Bernard Ingham, once press secretary to former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, told the Associated Press that people from across Britain's political spectrum are in despair over the country's social breakdown.

I am curious to know how old the other boys were!

well, thats good for him. Now he doesn't have to be responsible, but i feel bad for the baby, wonder who the father is...

wow that sucks....first off because alfie already grown a custom to the baby but to know its not his sucks...and then i wonder how old the real dad is

That girl got around. It is sad that she would tell Alfie that he was the dad when she was not sure. Weird story

good for alfie i guess but its sad cuz he thouhght it his baby was his this whole time

thats gross that the mother of the baby has had so many relations with other boys that she dosent even know who the father is.

hopefully the real dad is older and would know how to raise a child

funny that girl is going to be labelled as a slut for the rest of her life.  I'm seeing tv interviews, a book deal, and maybe some internet blogging in her future? Weren't the other kids like 15, those kids are screwed too.  I feel bad for that Alfie kid, he thought he was going to be international media star, now he'll just be a wikipedia side- note. Emabarrassing to his parents who lets their TWELVE YEAR OLD have unprotected sex with a fifteen year old girl!

and I hope the baby daddy is older too :) I dont want poor little Massie to suffer because her teeny bopper mom cant take care of her!
