A woman accused of taking more than $73,000 from a church blames Satan!
Papers filed with a theft charge Wednesday in Snohomish County Superior Court say the 62-year-old Arlington woman told detectives "Satan had a big part in the theft."
She was also accused of forging the pastor's signature on 80 checks and was fired in Febuary 2008.

This is sad. and weird. I most definately believe that the devil tempts us to do things but we have the coice whether to listen to him or not. thats what i personally believe. possesions are real though. so this could be legit or she could just be using a possesion as an excuse
Call a preist.. lol. I think she knew what she was doing. If she thought she was possesed why didnt she confront her pastor earlier and ask for help before she stole money.. she cant say she was unable to confront him either.. because she is obviously able to tell it to the cops
if it comes to money, people can turn and do some crazy things. call it desperate to steal the church's money, forge a pastor's signature, and them blame satan.
people seriously come up with some pretty dumb excuses! these people keep on blaming either god or satan..or something in their head telling them to do things. either people are just getting more and more crazy..or they just dont want to deal with the consequences for their actions. ______________ erica edgley
