kansas final four ? i think they are losing second round to West Virginia.
West Virginia is tough and scary, so you may be onto something. Bill Self is a pretty rockin' coach, though....

yeah, i saw that game. i thought it was a very sloppy game. if VCU stayed out of foul trouble earlier there is no doubt they would have one. UCLA's guard play was awful, as i feel it always is in the tournament. Year after year ben howlands teams are great in the regular season, but when it comes down to the real big game his "superstar" players rarely showup.
Did anyone see that UCLA game last night? One of the best games ive seen thus far.
slimmist margin but they're not going to beat Villanova.
I'm not sure...I realize that Nova is playing practically in their backyard, but given that they had about all they could handle with American, I think the Bruins might give them a good run...should be a good game!

ughh im tired of UCLA talk. they cannot score in critical situations, and collison cannot play in the tournament. if you dont believe me you can check the stats. last year agaisnt memphis in final four - 1 for 9 FG , 5TO's, foul out. year before against florida in final four 3 for 14FG, 7TO's. 3 years ago national championshop against florida 0-5FG, 3 TO's, in only 20 min of game time. STATS DONT LIE.

Pitt, to me is a lot like UCLA teams in recent years. They just have athletic players that are not really that skilled. (Blair, Sam Young). This lack of skill often leads them to very long scoreless droughts. This has not been witnessed yet in the tournament, but when they play better teams it will. Also, i feel that their coach controls their offense too much and that is why the havent made it past the Sweet 16 since he has been there, despite many NBA players being on the team. If Pitt is fortunate enough to beat Xavier, im almost positive they will lose to the winner of the DUke vs. Villanova game.
I know, I know. alas, just a tough night for my blue devils....and my bracket (I had Memphis v. Duke in the championship game)

the duke game last night was awful. if i was kyle singler i would go to the NBA now just so i wont have to go through coach k's insane practices next year.
Also, UCONN looks very tough now. Remember, STanley robinson did not play much in the beginning of the season due to off the court problems. It seems like he is improving by leaps and bounds every game. To me, his play more than makes up for the abscence of jerome dyson.
