He is a filmmaker who is going to put a video camera in his prosthetic eye. His eye was damaged in a childhood shooting accident. He wants to secretly record people for a project comenting on the global spread of surveillance cameras.
I think that this is pretty coooooooool! Its amazing what technology can help us do these days. I think thought that it IS a little weird and people might feel that their privacy has been invaded.
this sounds like a really innovative idea to me. it seems like it would be one of the first shows/movies that actually provides real life situations to it. however, once the movie comes out, i dont feel that the people involved will be too happy about being in it.
Isnt this kinda what Borat did..? i mean not with the whole eye thing, but videotaping people without their consent? Cant the people in this movie sue him...?
i think this is awesome. seriously sounds cool, i would go see it. being useful and doing something productive is nice. i dont really care about the people hes filming i mean its life..just becoming a documentry. real life. people dont have true privacy or enjoy it anyway. maybe it will be an eye opener to some.
i think this idea is really cool and would be intrested in seeing that the film turns out like. seems like a different persepctive. i think privacy may be an issue...and if it becomes a problem then it will be delt with...its something new and the people being filmed should feel special being involved in this idea.

Again before he releases the movie he HAS to get thier consent. So the people WILL know about it and if they don't sign it then he WILL NOT put them in their movie.
because he has to get their consent before it's put into the movie, i think it's a good idea. it will be really interesting. i would probably go see it :)
thats a really good idea and its amazing that it is actually possible. as long as he isnt secretly recording and the people have given him consent, its sounds like a cool movie. if he does it secretly he will be looking at (and filming, i guess too) a lot of law suits for violation of privacy.
