This article deals with North Korea planning to launch a satellite into space. With NOrth Korea being a communist nation, is this issue anything we Americans have to worry about ?
they are definitely trying to bully Obama into favoring North Korea in his agenda. And we should be worried if this missile is capable of reaching Alaska. South Korea's leader is right for not handing out free unconditional aid to North Korea. This will also be a violation of a UN protocol they signed, so its not going to win them any favors. And North Koreas army although extremely is large uses outdated weapons and his vastly undertrained.
Ya we should be worried. THe fact that we dont even know what that satellite can do is a little frightning and the fact that we're not on the best of terms with them isn't making me feel any better. I think all we can do, if we do anything, is monitor it and contact someone IF anything happens.
I agree it is a little scary that North Korea , a communist country, is going to launch a satellite in which the rest of the world has no idea what it can do.
who knows what north korea can be capable of now? i agree, we need to keep an eye out.

North Korea tested a nuclear weapon in October 2006. But experts say it does not yet have the technology to make a nuclear warhead small enough to mount on a missile.
South Korean Defence Minister Lee Sang-hee urged North Korea to provide evidence to support its claim of a satellite, rather than missile, launch.
"Whether it is a missile or a satellite, it is similar technology. In either case, we believe it is a threatening act towards us and we are preparing to deal with it accordingly," he added. _________
However unlikely, lets hope its a satellite.
