the embassy said that it has recieved a threat against the embassy regarding a possible attack in the forseeable future. this has led americans to take caution and extreme security measures. americans have been urged to make emergency security plans such as ensuring emergency travel documents in case of the attack. a us official has said that there was enough information to suggest the threat was not "a fake" and warrented to be very cautious, but he could not be bamed because he was not authorized to speak for the record.
do you think the us should take into account the threat, or disreguard it? do you think we should put time into an alternate incase the attack does happen? do you feel the attack will actually happen, or do you think its just another threat?
of course you have to take the threat seriously. And it wouldn't be the first time U.S. citizens have been bombed check the USS Cole bombing. And there's been a bomb that exploded outside the embassy in September. It wouldn't surprise me if an attack happens, its not like our embassies have never been attacked before. It wouldn't surprise me if an attack doesn't happen. lets just hope it doesn't happen and innocent lives aren't killed.
Since it was stated that there was sufficient evidence that was a "real" threat I believe it would be wise to take it into account. And just as Jason said, there have been several attacks both on and around the U.S. Embassy during the months of September, March and April so I think it would be very sensible to remain alert for future attacks.

I think they should definitely take the precautions necessary, because although it may be fake, it may also be real. Because that is a possible situation, they should be prepared for it just in case. It's better than thinking it's fake and then it really happening when no one is prepared.
