what's an "activity vacation" you'd really like to go on? (one of my top choices, if not the top, is the trip where you whitewater raft down the Colorado River and get to go through the Grand Canyon from the bottom :)...of course, I might have to get another job first, as it's an INCREDIBLY expensive trip)

idk what you can do really people should be warned about the sharks but theres always a risk. the best vacation ive ever been on is a cruise to alaska and i recommend that for everyone here it was so amazing. you could probably do that dog sledding thing out there if you wanted. but yeah... go on that cruise. alaska has alot of activities like kayaking too.
As a resident of California I have come to the conclusion that if you see a shark, its not hunting for you. I mean if a shark is going to attack you, you cant do anything about it and youre definetly not going to see it. So my belief is you shouldnt stress about what you cant control.
nonetheless dont go into shark infested waters thats just ignorant
My dream vacation would be to go base jumping off a water fall. Incredibly expensive, but its also supposed to be an experience of a lifetime.

although there is a risk of sharks, we are the one entering into their territory for our enjomyent, and generally the average person when going to the beach won't swim out 150 yards from shore. I'm not gonna start worrying about shark attacks because i don't think it will happen to me personally. As for dog sledding, that might be an experience but living in southern california im not one for cold weather, ill stick to the beaches and take my chances.
I see sharks when I go surfing all the time in San Onofre, but most of them are Mayco sharks or something like that ( 4-5 feet mostly), but a great white on the other hand...I'd start prayin and paddling for my life to the shore.
I know this is random, but I just want to clear this up for people out there.
There are these things called shark attacks, but there is no such thing as a shark attack. I have never seen a real shark attack.
I know youre making a weird face as youre reading this. OK people, a shark attack is not what we see on TV and what people portray it as.
Were humans. We live on land.
Sharks live in water.
So if youre swimming in the water and a shark bites you, thats called trespassing. That is called trespassing. That is not a shark attack.
A shark attack is if youre chilling at home, sitting on your couch, and a shark comes in and bites you; now thats a shark attack. Now, if youre chilling in the water, that is called invasion of space. So I have never heard of a shark attack.
When I see on the news where its like, There have been 10 shark attacks, Im like, Hey, for real?! Theyre just running around? Sharks are walking now, huh! We live on the land, we dont live underwater.
My family used to camping at Jalama beach. A lady was killed by a shark and yet we still went to the beach a week later. Sharks aren't going to stop most people's vaction plans.
