Parliments in The Bahamas began a debate Monday on the government's bill to amend the country's Penal Code to allow Electronic Monitoring of convicts and persons on bail awaiting trial. While this will take away some of the privacy of the people, its said to be a revolutionary provision described as an effective weapon in the fight against crime.
i think it's a good idea to keep track of where they are because they can just skip parole, but it does impede on their rights and freedom, but then again they are convicts and commiting a crime impedes on other people's rights as well. so i don't know. this is a tough one.
