This WEDNESDAY (10/29) and THURSDAY (10/30) at LUNCH in front of Mr. Disbennett's room (308), you have the chance to participate in EDHS's little corner of the California State High School Mock Election - our results will be tabulated and added into the state student total, which we'll then be able to compare to actual vote totals here in CA and nationwide. So make it a more representative sample (or maybe not, since you guys are an ELITE group of highly educated and informed citizens) and VOTE!!
Items on the ballot: the Presidential race and the propositions
FIVE POINTS EXTRA CREDIT if you participate (but you can only vote ONCE .... any voter fraud and you will get five points NEGATIVE credit)!! :)
Lego, Cav (the Lego brand name was derived from the Danish expression "leg godt" - play well - and lego also translates in Latin as "I study" or "I put together"...really, one of the world's most perfect words!)
As far as I know, ACORN did not register any of the voters, but if Darren Collison or Greg Paulus (YAY, it's FINALLY college basketball season again!) or Manny Ramirez ends up voting, we'll have to question whether Mr. Tekulve DREW on any of their methods :)
Political efficacy: The belief that your vote matters and will make a difference.
(Efficacious: Capable of producing the desired result)
