I think if Obama wins, the racists percentage would stay the same, more than that, every time something happens (in economy, in the world, in the country), the president is going to be blamed (all the racists gonna say "it's all his fault, cause he's black") -that's what I meant..

i dont believe that race is over as an issue in the election, what people say in public and do behind closed doors is drastically different. I would like to say that it isnt an issue anymore, but especially after the reports of an assassination plot, that would just be ignorant to say. There are many closet racists who i believe will show their true colors if Obama is elected, and i feel that the threat to Obamas life if elected will be far greater than that of any other president, which is sad to say. I am Pro-McCain, but race shouldnt be an issue and unfortunatly i believe it will come in to play at least slightly in the coming days of the end of this election.

I agree that there will be an influx in the criticism based solely on racism. I mean the ignorance would be so ridiculous. That is like an atheist saying "George W. Bush prays to make his decisions, God doesn't exist, therefore christianity is the reason the country has gone down" Come on?! Its amazing how many people are able to vote that seem to not have an intelligent bone in their body. As far as Obama's life being in danger, I think that the amount of security will be so beefed up if he is elected that its not going to be as big of a factor as its made out to be.

I believe that within the following years, if obama becomes president, there will be a large surrface of where racism still exists, i bleieve this also puts alot more pressure on Obama if elected president to have a succesfull term.

I think racism will worsen if Obama becomes president and I think Obama's race will be used as a reason for things. Like if something bad happens, the president gets blamed. But it won't be because he is president, it will be because he is black. So i think race will become a bigger issue if he wins.

The racism won't disappear if Obama become the president.
If he cannot solve the problems very well, people will blame him for his black blood relationship instead of his abilities.

I think it would lessen, we would then be a country ran by an aferican american, it might change the way people think...
