Joe the Plumber is not just a household name now, but also the subject, as you know, of YouTube minicinema and a wide variety of available merchandise(check out: http://shop.cafepress.com/joe+the+plumber?cmp=knc--y--us--pol--elect08--a--default_ad_URL&OVRAW=joe%20the%20plumber&OVKEY=joe%20the%20plumber&OVMTC=standard&OVADID=42964977011&OVKWID=288798570011 - can you BELIEVE all of this stuff is already available just two days later?!  And, I didn't look at all of it, so if there is anything profane, then shield your ears and eyes, people)

Does Joe deserve some privacy given that he didn't seek out any of this attention?  Should he be getting a percentage of the merchandising?  Should McCain have asked him for permission in advance?  Should he just be excited that he is a household name?  Is it a good thing or a bad thing that our world and our politics move so quickly and news media fills a 24-hour cycle?

This whole thing seems kind of stupid. As for Joe though, he should just be excited that he's created such an uproar.

im extremely annoyed with america for going crazy over joe. he is now famous for being famous. its soo lame. and i didnt think he was complaining i think he is liking the attention or he wouldve been hiding in his house and not mingling with the press on his lawn

Yeah Joe became fameous over like nothing.. kinda cool for him. Media is fast moving though, this should be over and done with in a couple days
