Off the east coast of canada, more than expected amounts of oil spills have occured. The amount of oil spills is 6 times higher than it was predicted to be. This is said to effect the environment dramatically since the amount of spills has far exceeded the prediction and now this is pollution the eastern side of canada.
How do you think this will effect the environment? And do you think they can fix this in time??
i believe this will be decestating to enviorment, people just can't go around dumping oil all over the place! i do believe that it will be able to be somewhat fixed if we as a world take pollution as a a serious issue, however many people think for the now and not for the future, and this will cause our pollution to get worse unless we begin to think of how these damages will effect the enviorment and have a negative effect on the future.
obivously, its gonna negatively affect the enviroment, and unless there is some way to get the oil out of the ocean water, which as far i know doesnt exist, there isnt much we can do
also, think of how much that oil is worth...GEEZ!!!!!!! thats frustrating, captains are out there playing tag with icebergs while slamming down the apple-tinis and this is how WE pay for it...blasted boat captains
of course it'll effect the environment, and there probably isn't a way to get all of it out, but they can clean off the birds and rocks with toothbrushes and stuff.
the oil spill is with out question going to negatively affect the environment. and I can imagine cleaning up all the oil from the ocean to be very VERY costly.
an oil spill will have a negative effect on the animals, plant life and humans in eastern canada.. i think they can start to clean it up but damage has already been done so the best they can do is clean up what they can and try and prevent future oil spills.
This will have an negative effect on the enviroment and it's also a huuge waste of money. They should be doing all that is in there power to help avoid these spills and clean up as much as they can of what does.
