Iranian president says Iran needs the ability to produce nuclear fuel because it cannot rely on other nations to supply enriched uranium to the Islamic regime's planned reactors. The UN is concerned that they will create atomic weapons. Iran insists that it is for peaceful energy production. Will a nuclear stand off present itself? Should Iran, with the reputation that they hold be allowed to have access to nuclear technology at this level?
i agree with you janell. with iran being a serious threat to israel, and us being a huge supporter of them, if something were to happen between the two we would inevitably get involved in another war that could have been prevented
I agree that Iran is a huge threat. And the UN should not allow this to happen. But the U.S. shouldn't storm into another war, we will lose with our troops spread so thin.
i agree with those above me the idea of iran having some sort of nuclear power is somewhat worrisome therefore, dont give them the technology and there will be nothing to worry about

I do not think they should be allowed to have access to this level of nuclear technology. Iran is a huge threat. They have come right out and said that Israel should be blown off the earth. We are allies with Israel, which would definitely end up involving us.
isnt this one of the reasons we are there is to make sure they dont make these deadly weapons? im not sure if we should trust them and be like okay yeah if you say its peaceful then we should definitely just believe you. i hope the un doesnt let them
yeah i think ' peaceful energy production ' is a bluff, i belive they do have bad intentions and it would be necessary for the U.N. to step in, however we are in no condition to jump into another 7 year war.
I think it's obvious that Iran isn't producing nuclear fuel for peaceful energy production. They want to destroy Isreal. And we should make sure this doesn't happen.

If they are shooting at our troops for being in their country, I don't think we should allow them to have suspicous nuclear plants. Both Iran and North Korea need to be constantly watched.
